Our Mission
Phaistos Labs is deciphering Minoan Linear A — the last major undeciphered script of the Bronze Age Mediterranean and the written voice of the civilization widely regarded as Plato’s inspiration for Atlantis. We reconstruct lost phonologies from first principles, without training data, by inducing sound values through phylogenetic constraint propagation across ancient language families.
Our aim extends beyond a single decipherment: by proving that dead languages can be systematically recovered through pure structural induction, we seek to uncover the universal constraints governing human communication and to pioneer humanistic AI models capable of superhuman linguistic inference.
